How Much Do MSLs Get Paid?
Popular question that we all try to evade, unless you’re speaking with a recruiter who may tell you a range. While “it’s not within my nature to be mysterious,” it’s a disservice to list salary ranges because of how many factors influence salaries.
What determines salary ranges - an initial list
- Company size
- Risk factor (will company be there next year?)
- Doctorate degree
- Therapeutic area (oncology are higher than average)
- Scientific/Therapeutic Experience
- Industry/MSL Experience
- How much salary is offset by total benefits
